Is it possible to have both peace and joy in your life?
Yes, it is possible to have both.
About Me

Thank you for reading my bio! I'm Jenny Florez, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Pleasanton, California. My journey in clinical training began in 2014, culminating in a Master's in Counseling. I've had the privilege of supporting diverse adult populations facing life stressors, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I’ve had the privilege of building my experience working onsite for a major high tech and social media company in the Bay Area, where I supported staff individually and leadership in addressing personal and professional challenges. Topics reported included burnout prevention, work and personal stress, conflict resolution, communication strategies, self-care, resiliency, impostor syndrome, and work-life balance. Those unique roles have help deepen my understanding of the complex pressures faced in fast-paced environments.

I am passionate about creating a safe, confidential and supportive space where my clients can explore their experiences, process emotions, and develop practical strategies for growth and healing. Whether it’s finding clarity amid life’s stressors or enhancing your ability to cope and thrive, I am committed to helping you achieve your goals. I invite you to learn more and take the next step in your journey.

My therapeutic approach emphasizes collaboration and trust, creating a client-centered space for exploration and growth. I utilize a range of evidence-based interventions, ranging from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, Client Centered and Brainspotting, which help address unresolved experiences, symptom reduction and facilitate the development of practical coping strategies. By examining the connections between thought patterns and past experiences, I aim to enhance clients' self-awareness and promote healing. Regular client feedback is essential to my practice, ensuring we maintain alignment and that you are effectively making progress toward your therapeutic goals.
A little about me that I am happy to share is that I live in the Bay Area, I am a mom of three (funny) kids, one dog and a very supportive husband of over 20 years. Fun facts that makes me human is my love for coffee (just one big cup a day) and scrolling through Pinterest (I really love Pinterest). In my down time I am quite simple. My self care ranges from laying on a warm beach, attending a concert or comedy show, spending time with my family and connecting with friends.
*Note, I do not accept insurance at this time.
